It is an ideal region for lovers of hunting tourism. Numerous games live in ideal conditions in woods and in the Mediterranean macchia as for instance partridges, woodcocks, pheasants, hares, deer and roes. Hunting season is from the month of August till February.
Cycling, hiking, asparagus and grape picking
Numerous pathways and trails provide bike riding, horse riding or long walks along the gorgeous landscape. If you wish and depending on season you can go for picking eatable wild asparagus and mushrooms, grapes or gather truffles.

Sailing boats, surfing boards, different sorts of boats offered by sport centres enable you to take full pleasure in the water activities. Sport fishing and nautical tourism are regulated through local clubs and marinas. Anglers have many opportunities for going waterside fishing or deep-sea fishing, spare-fishing, fresh-water fishing on the shore of the Mirna River.

Those of a more adventurous bent can opt for parachuting, paragliding, free climbing, speleology, mount-biking all offer by the "Raspadalica" camping site.
